Gremi is a macOS menu bar app that reminds you about upcoming Google Calendar meetings so you don't miss them. It runs locally on your Mac. This policy explains what data Gremi accesses, how it's used, and how it's stored.
Gremi requests read-only access to your Google Calendar through the Google Calendar API. Specifically, Gremi uses these OAuth scopes:
Gremi cannot create, edit, or delete any calendar data. Gremi does not list, enumerate, or read any of your other calendars, and does not access calendar ACLs, sharing settings, or colors.
Your calendar data is used solely to remind you about your meetings on your own Mac. Specifically:
Gremi's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, Google user data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, not used to train AI or machine-learning models, and not read by humans (except with your explicit consent for support, or as required by law).
There are no analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
Gremi does not retain your calendar data. When you quit the app, all calendar data is removed from memory. Signing out in the app deletes the stored refresh token from the macOS Keychain. You can also revoke Gremi's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
